Apartment Review for Gulf Breeze Apartments - Corpus Christi, TX

8/18/05Address should BE: CORPUS CHRISTI TX! NOT Grand Rapids. Somehow that was tampered with after I sent my review on 8/16/05.Office staff is courteouse, but disrespectful in fulfilling the needs of the residents. Staff never takes responsibilty for their mistakes. Leaving all mistakes made by the leasing consultants to be resolved by the residents themselves. My experience: We were scheduled to move on a set day, 3 times was pushed back due to construction. I was not notified. On the 4th try to move in on my schedule day.... came in that morning to get my keys, movers were here, and leasing agent said my apartment was not ready. Her exact words " What do you want me to do about it?" Yet she was the one who had scheduled me to move in on that day. Also our electricity was switched out to another company by Gulf Breeze when it was allready in our name. Company was more expensive, Gulf Breeze again said "we are not responsible we will send you the bill." These apartments have been built with the cheapest materials. Inside and out. Sidewalk is already cracked. I have been here for 2 weeks and my 2nd bathroom has backed up 3 times...and we dont even use it. Grout between tiles in kitchen are not filled. More was left on the tiles and on the floor. Cabinetry was poorly constructed, and not to mention the infestation of ants and spiders. Even crickets manage to make their way in here. Due to construction my car has been scratched. Maintenance however is the only good thing that this complex has. They are great!! No Complaints in that area!!!!
