Apartment Review for Gulf Breeze Apartments - Corpus Christi, TX

We chose this place because they passed themselves off to be very picky, had a lot of requirements, and seemed like they maintained a decent apartment community. Since moving in, there's been major noise issues (whether its neighbors screaming at each other, beating their kids, baby mama drama, or stupid cars bassing at 3 am while they fly through the parking lot), the neighbors dump trash in the parking lot, allow their dogs to use the bathroom wherever and don't clean it up, and people just flat out not having common courtesy for others. Come here if you want idiots that never park correctly and management that turns a blind eye to all their so-called 'policies'. They try and require you to clean the carpets upon your moveout even though they are filthy to start with; the walls are thin as hell; my significant other got bashed in the head with a ceiling fan dome that detached when he pulled the fan cord. The hot water never lasts to fill up that amazing tub and the lighting in the apartment suck. There are spiders and silverfish everywhere. Also you have to pay for your own cable and you are stuck with Grande unless you live on the first floor so good luck paying $100 every month for 300 channels which include 40 spanish and 100 music channels and then HD versions of the same 25 channels you already have. The stupid gates that are supposed to protect this place don't ever work and are usually open anyway. This place is a joke, if they would actually enforce some of the rules they insist on, it could be better but for the time, just pay the amount at a better apartment complex. Or sign a very short lease if you don't believe me. Also, expect to have some criminals around you because that lame paper you signed stating no one with convictions or whatever is allowed isn't upheld. Public records will show that there are quite a few seedy characters here. Trust your gut. Just pay the $30 more for a real apartment community, not some sham.
