Apartment Review for Sandcastle Apartments - Corpus Christi, TX

I lived in the apartment for about 2 1/2 years and found nothing but problems. If you have loud obnoxious neighbors, you will get to hear all of their conversations as the walls are extremely sound permeable. I saw roaches crawling around although I keep everything clean. The AC kept breaking down. They started doing construction on Everhart. The tennis courts were wrecked and moldy. The laundry room smelled like mold. The porch was dirty when I first moved in. Ran out of hot water frequently in the shower. The faucet water was brown at times. The outdoor lighting was broken often. They charged me $200-something on a deposit with only $100 refundable. There were cars being vandelized frequently most likely due to the fact that it's not a gated complex. There were people speeding in the parking lot. It was getting to a point where I wanted to get out of my lease with all these problems, but they were indifferent and wanted to charge me $2000-something to get out. I decided to move out and they charged me for a dirty oven, although I have never cooked in the oven. I decided to buy a house so I requested a statement of residency, and they charged me $50 for it. The list of problems goes on but I'm sure you got the idea. Money driven vultures who don't care for their residents. Don't be fooled by the price of rent. They'll find a way to disgruntle you in all possible ways.
