Apartment Review for The Shores - Corpus Christi, TX

I HATE it here. Our electricity bill is always at LEAST 275.00, but lately its been in the low 300.00 range...and I am not exaggerating. I blame the old A/C unit because we never have it below 77, and rarely move it. We've called about the A/C on several occassions for them to only replace the thermostat, and that was not the problem, so we finally gave up. When we first moved in, there was a big roach problem, and I mean Big roaches! Now that the season is cooler, that has stopped. The crime is the worst part. Since I've lived here, I've gotten several notes about break in's, attempted assaults and abductions, and a body was dumped right across the street. I know of one vehicle that was completely stolen and an apartment that was wiped out while the person was away. Our vehicle was almost broken into, we could see where someone tried to pop the lock. My vehicle was hit in the parking lot, while I was inside...and of course, no note with insurance info. So thanks....or shall I say, no thanks. The only good thing I can say is the parking was okay.
