Apartment Review for Walnut Ridge Apartments - Corpus Christi, TX

DO NOT MOVE HERE..these are the worst apartments i have ever lived in ..EVER..the first week i moved in i had ants eat through about $300 worth of groceries, somebody tried to steal the lincoln symbol off of the hood of my car and i have to have it welded on, my neighbors apartment was broken into and she was mugged, my other car was hit in the parking lot, my ac broke and it took 2 wks for them to fix it..i kept complaining that it was hot so they just put freon in it and told me to keep running it and it would cool off eventually...well it never did and i have a one bedroom apartment and ended up w/ a $400 electricity bill, not to mention that today my car got broken into right in front of my doorstep..i wasnt parked far or in the dark..were talking right in front of my doorstep..they tore my dashboard off pulled my deck out, ripped my door panels off and tore the backseat trying to get into the trunk..when i first moved here i was advised by the ladies in the office how safe it is here due to the fact they provide a closed gate community and that they have cameras..well the gate is hardly EVER closed and turns out the cameras do not record nor is there anyone watching surveillance of these cameras so they are completely pointless..when i told the office about the situation they just said "well we will try to follow up on it , but u signed the contract"...where is the sympathy since they put posters up everywhere saying "we love our customer"..please..make me laugh..i only have three months left of my contract..i feel very unsafe in these apartments and would never recommend it to ANYONE..not even my worst enemies..living in walnut ridge is like living in the pits of hell and management is the spawn of satan - -
